Daycare provider sentencing delayed- again

The Mammoth daycare provider arrested in October for sexually abusing at least four children in his care, Lupe Almaguer, was expected to face a judge March 8, but that sentenceing will “likely be continued” according to Mono County Deputy District attorney Todd Graham said Thursday.

The sentencing was originally set for Feb. 15 but was continued to March 8 and, as of Thursday, looks to be continued again.

Almaguer, 56, pled guilty to several counts of felony child molestation in December 2010.
He was arrested in October 2010 after an investigation.
