The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has removed the winter snow, cleared the debris and made the necessary repairs to open State Route 108 over Sonora Pass on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 12:00 p.m.

Never have a slow day in Mammoth again by attending the Inaugural Summer Recreation Open House on April 14 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Mammoth Middle School MPR. The event is sponsored by the Town of Mammoth Lakes Recreation Department.
The Inyo National Forest will hold a public meeting to share the Draft Travel Analysis Report (TAR) on Tuesday, April 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cerro Coso Community College in Bishop, 4090 W. Line Street.
The popular Mammoth Lakes Basin and Twin Lakes area could open to vehicles by end of April, weather permitting, according to Inyo National Forest authorities, who will meet with Town of Mammoth Lakes and other Basin stakeholders today to work out the details.
