January 18, 2012

Dr. Andrew Bourne's contract with Mammoth Hospital has been terminated, according to spokeswoman Lori Ciccarrelli, "because he cannot fulfill its terms at this time."

Also, Santa Barbara District Attorney Joyce Dudley confirmed that more charges against Joe Walker and/or Dr. Bourne are forthcoming.  "We expect to amend this complaint and add additional charges," Dudley said. "The investigation is ongoing, therefore we can not discuss those additional charges at this time."

Bourne and Walker are due in Santa Barbara court for a scheduling hearing Jan. 19.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 25.
