Sprint U.S. Grand Prix – February 29 – March 3
What:  The U.S. Grand Prix wraps up the 2012 tour at the award-winning Unbound terrain parks at Mammoth Mountain. Come see your favorite professional skiers and snowboarders go for the gold in pipe and slope. This event attracts top tier talent from all over the globe, earning it a five-star TTR ranking for the snowboarding event, and World Cup status for the skiers!

Freeskiing Halfpipe Finals from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Snowboarding Slopestyle Finals from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 3:
Snowboarding Finals from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Freeskiing Slopestyle Finals from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
 
Thursday, March 8
 
Mono County Little League Skills Assessments 
What: Baseball players ages 4 – 15 invited to register to 2012 Spring Baseball. All levels welcome. Skills assessment held for players ages 7 to 12. 
Where: Mammoth High School Gym, Mammoth Lakes
When: 5:30p.m. Kids 7-10, plus 6-year-olds with one-year experience, 7p.m. kids ages 11-12

Tahoe Adventure Film Festival
What: The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival Road Tour 2012 stops by Mammoth Lakes to bring you “The World’s Best Adventure Sports Films of the Year. ” Tickets are $12 and part of the proceeds goes to benefit the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center.

Wildlife Migration Corridor Field Trip
What: Join the Eastern Sierra Land Trust for a late afternoon exploring an important section of a local wildlife migration corridor that provides critical passage for the Round Valley mule deer herd and other wildlife. Mono County Wildlife Biologist, Timothy Taylor from the California Department of Fish & Game will share facts and stories about the wildlife that use the migration corridor.
