A group of Mammoth cross-country ski experts, including Olympian Nancy Fiddler, will be holding the popular “Masters Class” cross-country ski training program this winter at the Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center.
Separate classes will be held for beginners, intermediate skiers, and advanced skiers, along with shorter classes for winter conditioning.

The classes will begin after Thanksgiving and continue into the spring, according to Jane Lester, one of the instructors.

“Enrollment in the 2013-2014 season Master Programs is open to all skiers, from beginners to experienced ski racers,” she said. “Each program is designed to raise levels of skiing skills and enjoyment in both the classic (striding) and skating techniques. Plus, you save $80 off of your regular Tamarack Season Pass when purchased with a Masters program.”

Instructors include Fiddler, Lester, Marcia Mohun, Marie French, Robin Morning and Jen Girard.
