The Mammoth Lakes Chamber's holiday fundraiser this year will be held tomorrow, Dec. 3, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Jimmy's Taverna and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Wild Iris, according to the chamber.
Each year, Wild Iris serves hundreds of Mono County’s most vulnerable residents: those who are victims of domestic violence. The numbers continue to grow for individuals seeking our services, and sadly, the increase in numbers includes more and more victims under the age of 18, according to the chamber.
This year, Wild Iris is making the children of domestic violence a priority for the holidays, and is requesting your help to make that possible.
Please consider donating generously to Wild Iris; we are accepting non-perishable food, toys, clothing, gift cards and monetary donations. With these gifts, Wild Iris will be able to provide holiday food baskets, toys and clothing for the families and children of domestic violence.
Tickets are $50 at the door. We hope to see you!
