Saving 10 percent on fuel could help county cut costs, supervisor says

One way to cut county expenses is to cut fuel use by the county by 10 percent, says Mono County Supervisor Larry Johnston. He pushed the idea during this week’s county budget hearings, hoping to gain some traction.

Although the supervisors did not immediately endorse Johnston’s idea, they said the idea merited further discussion.
