Gaming for Teens at the Mammoth Lakes Library
The library will hosts its second Video Game Tournament at 7 p.m. All students in 6th through 12th grades who have a library card with no fines are eligible to participate. Games will be Guitar Hero and DDR on Play Station 2, and Wii Sports. You must pre-register for this event. For more information call (760) 934-2820.
Mammoth Film Festival
Running from Nov. 13 – Nov. 23. The 2008 Mammoth Film Festival will encompass over 8 venues, 60+ films in 4 screening rooms, 3 parties, 2 VIP receptions, and a FilmMaker Expo known as “Basecamp”. The art show in the Footloose parking lot is just one of the activities on Main Street during this weekend's 4th of July festivities. There is also a skate contest in front of Wave Rave, a beer garden in front of P3/Base Camp Cafe, kids activities in front of Schat's Bakery and chalk art and improv performances in front of the Luxury Outlet Mall.
