A facelift has begun at the Rodeway Inn property on Old Mammoth Road, as promised by James Demetriades, one of the developers of the property formerly known as Clearwater and today called Old Mammoth Place.
According to the developer’s legal counsel, Mark Carney, a PowerPoint presentation will be held by the new applicant for future development there, Dana Severy, at today’s planning commission meeting at 2 p.m.
“Basically we’re going to be unveiling a new site plan and some discussion of the programming,” Carney said in a phone call yesterday. “We want to update the planning commission on all the work we’ve been doing since the specific plan was approved by town council in  January.”
Council has not yet concluded its incentive zoning policy, which is anticipated in August. Carney said the Old Mammoth Place developer intends to apply for its use permit on the heels of the incentive zoning policy. – CB
