Friday October 9 Book Signing Meet the author of “Wawona Brotherhood: The San Jose State Campus Revolt,” Timothy Fitzgerald, at Booky Joint, 1-3 p.m. today. Fitzgerald wrote the memoir of 1960s student life during a five-year stint in Mammoth.

Saturday October 10 Four Shillings Short concert This husband and wife duo perform on a fantastic array of instruments from around the world, including the North Indian Sitar, Hammered Dulcimer, Mandolins, Banjo, Whistles, Recorders, Medieval and Renaissance Woodwinds, Charango, Bowed Psaltery, Guitar, and even a Krumhorn.
