The long awaited Intrawest model of the proposed Rodeo Grounds Project finally made an appearance at the June Lake Community Advisory Committee meeting on September 2. The standing room only crowd waited patiently as the committee waded through defensible space updates, the Gull Lake Trails Plan update, and community center improvement updates before settling into the Q & A session with Intrawest Project Managers Brianne Parham and Doug Ogilvy, who were on-hand to answer questions about mass, density and height of the proposed Rodeo Grounds Project.

Darin Dinsmore from Intrawest was unable to attend the meeting but through a letter asked the community and the committee to consider possibilities such as where the existing trees should be retained, how single family homes can best be incorporated into the site to minimize impact, and does the plan respect the county's natural features with designs that accommodate and even enhance their setting.  – SP
