Friday, 05 September 2008
Dennis Domaille, owner of the Tioga Mobil Mart, was seriously burned in a propane accident on July 9, 2008. During his recovery, his burns have become secondary to a blood disorder. Domaille is need of regular blood transfusions. Anyone wishing to donate blood can do so through the Bloodsource program. Through Bloodsource, blood of any type can be donated and used as credit toward blood for Domaille.

United Blood Services, out of Reno, will be in Bishop for a blood drive on September 16, 17 and 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be a blood drive in Mammoth on October 21, 22, and 23.

Jan McKee, with United Blood Services, can be contacted to set up an appointment for the Bishop blood drive at (800) 696-4484.
A donor account (under “Dennis Domaille” or account #P799) has been set up for Domaille with Bloodsource. The website at www.bloodsource.org can answer many questions.
