An audience of about 25 turned out for the Mammoth Unified School District (MUSD) Meet the Board Candidates Night last night to meet the three candidates for the school board. Though attendance seemed low, particularly compared to the full house that showed up for the Charter School hearing two days prior, the candidates were still taken to task by several questions asked by concerned members of the community.

The forum, mediated by Superintendent Frank Romero, presented the two incumbent board members Greg Newbry and Mary Canada alongside prospective board members Gloria Vasquez, John Trujillo and Jack Farrell. See the full story in next week's Mammoth Times – ES
