Monday morning rounds - started 6:35 a.m. and finished at 7:20 a.m. - I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged – the Old Mammoth Commercial District and the Sierra Valley Sites all looked good – we are replacing a bin at Rite-Aid with the plastic lid.
The bears moved over to Mountain Blvd. as most of the bins were locked in the Sierra Valley sites – as such I am issuing a level 1 citation for [a location on Mountain Blvd.] and put in for two new carabineer locks on some bins there.
Old Mammoth Road and the Slopes looked good, as well as Davison – although a bear got into Crestview and Seasons Four. Both of them are getting a warning citation as they have been working hard this year to keep their bins closed.
Overall for a Monday - which is one of our worst days, things looked good...
