Lone Pine Film Festival E-mail

Visitors get a head start on this weekend's activities at the Beverly and Jim Rogers Museum of Lone Pine Film Festival. The official schedule for the 2008 Lone Pine Film Festival has events beginning tomorrow and continuing all weekend. Several authors will be stopping by, answering questions in the Wild West Theater and then adjourning to the Lobby of the Museum to sign books. Spur Award winners Elmer Kelton and Dan O'Brien, the two "New Writers of the Purple Sage" will be there Saturday afternoon. Film historians will also be at the the museum during the weekend. Jim Rosin, author of the brand new book Wagon Train: The Television Series will be there as will Dale Evans and Roy Rogers daughter Cheryl Rogers Barnett who wrote her life story Cowboy Princess.  MAMMOTH TIMES PHOTO/SUSAN MORNING
