Local nonprofit Mammoth Nordic is selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser and the grand prize is a weeklong trip to Sun Valley, Idaho for its Sun Valley Nordic Festival.
The grand prize includes: accommodations for two for seven nights in a two bedroom suite in a private residence minutes north of Ketchum-Sun Valley, Idaho. The home is located close to the Nordic Trails as well as world famous Sun Valley Ski Resort.
It also includes two Blaine County Recreation District Nordic Trail System passes for full access to the 160 kilometers of groomed XC ski trails; lunch or dinner in a backcountry ski yurt owned by Sun Valley Trekking Company; round-trip airfare for two from Reno to Boise; and a rental car for a week from Boise to Sun Valley.
The fundraiser offers many other prizes.
The festival starts Jan. 25 and ends Feb. 2.
