Members of The Campaign For A Healthy California would like express their deep appreciation to the all those from Mammoth and other Eastern Sierra communities, including representatives from Mammoth Hospital and the Department of Health, who joined us Tuesday evening for the showing of the wonderful documentary, The Healthcare Movie. Â
The documentary and discussion that followed centered on engaging the public in looking at California’s single-payer universal healthcare bill and building public awareness of its economic benefits to businesses, our entire state’s economy, as well as the affordability and improvement in accessibility of healthcare to the public—while also saving over 1,000 lives each month in our state.Â
A special note of thanks to Doug and Gerardo from the Mammoth Lakes Library for hosting and helping make the event a success.
