Mammoth's biggest event – four days of fun in the sun – Mammoth's Bluesapalooza, is scheduled to kick off this weekend. The event has a well-deserved reputation for booking a unique variety of blues from all over the country. It's a mix of styles and genres.

And there's an opportunity for those without tickets to volunteer and earn entry.
Today is the day to sign up as a volunteer for the the 20th Annual Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza. There are more than 200 shifts that must be filled in order to showcase one of Mammoth Lakes' premier events to its roughly 6,000 attendees.

They are paying between $10 to $18 per hour, depending on the job. Shifts begin as early as Monday, July 27 and run through August 7. Or, work in trade for an event ticket; 8 hours of work = a 2-day pass, 12 hours of work = a 4-day pass. Hours must be completed prior to receiving your event ticket.
