The Weather This Weekend

Staff Writer

A cold front will affect the Eastern Sierra this weekend, bringing gusty winds and the first possible chance of a night time freeze, most likely the nights of Sept. 3 and Sept. 4 before a slow warming trend starts again on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance of precipitation during the weekend but only a slight chance. By mid next week, temperatures are expected to once again be higher than normal. Smoke will continue to affect the Eastern Sierra due to the Rough Fire which was still only 25 percent contained as of Sept. 3. — WG
