badwater road

The road to Badwater, the lowest point in the continental U.S. and located in Death Valley National Park, is once again closed due to yet ANOTHER round of flash floods, this time on Tuesday of this week. Many roads in the park are closed again; do not travel toward the park without checking road conditions.

Another round of storms impacted roads in the Death Valley region on Tuesday, Sept. 13, triggering another round of road closures.

The west entrance to Death Valley National Park is closed due to extensive damage to California Highway 190 (CA-190) west of the Park’s boundary, the Park said in a recent update.
